buying direct from mapei

Hi ,
just wondering if anyone knows wether it's possible to buy direct from mapei , i live a few miles away from their HQ in halesowen and i'm after four bags of adislilex p9 and four boxes of grout , also with regards to the grout which one would be the best for 10"x16" ceramic tiles in a bathroom , the keracolor ff or ultracolor plus cheers for any advice :smilewinkgrin:

I am a few miles away too but no, you cant buy direct.

ok thanks , i thought probably not , which of the two grouts i mentioned would you say would be better ? if you don't mind me asking

I would opt for the ultra colour plus. Great grout

What you might be able to do is call a Tile Giant store and make payment over the phone and then get them to place the order direct with Mapei and you pick it up. Not too sure if they would do that but I've seen it done quite a bit with other situations like this where a manufacturer is close but a retail store isn't.

You could try calling Tile Giant to put the suggestion forward?

:yikes: i've just spoke to tile giant and they want £32.69 for a 20kg bag of white P9 , gawd i didnt think it was that much , going to have a search on the net for somewhere else i think , thanks for the advice with the grout ultracolor it is :smilewinkgrin:
