Can I Change The Colour Of Grout?

Shame Bal stopped doing the wide joint in very dark Poo brown............Now its all this micro colour......and the brown is rather orangey:icon9:

Very true CJ...if this is the case then the lady will have seen the microcolour chart,knowing the finished colour

Sorry yes just realised that got all excited about not having to rake out the grout. I've started this now so looks like will have to carry on. Enlisted help of my other half - to say I'm not popular is a MAJOR understatement. Can anyone suggest a flexible grout which is VERY DARK BROWN - going towards black with NO ORANGEY tone to it?

try mapei grouts with a flexi additive like gt1 or unless they sell a flexi one..dont know as i normally use bal..........dave..

Your'll need to phone around tiling gaffs and see if ANYONE has the old Bal dark brown wide joint grout........good stuff....like melted chocolate........but tastes like ****e:wink_smile:

Thanks to everyone who replied - nearly got most of grout out. I will try to find a local stockist for Mapei - we have some additive. :angel_smile:

A quick update for anyone interested. I tested loads of different browns and all looked too light next to my very deep brown tiles. In the end I used Mapei Antracite 114 and it looks fantastic. So if anyone asks again - forget the browns and go for a really dark grey! Thanks everyone for all your help.
