I like it [MENTION=1]Dan[/MENTION]. I leave the laptop logged in to the forum all the time so when i am out at work, i come home refresh and the "new posts" link reduces the numbers. presumeably because auto refresh thinks i've seen it and is unaware im actually out of work. So sometimes i've got to trawl to find threads i want to return to or have commented on, seen but not had chance to input anymore. If users start using the @membername feature then we can effectively summon people in to convos/threads that they may or may not have seen etc. I really like it so far [MENTION=1]Dan[/MENTION].

Couple of Q's though. 1) is it case sensitive and 2) is there anyway of producing something that gives you a drop down address book perhaps when you key in the @ it would be difficult to remember exactly everyones usernames/ids. Trying to think of a scenario that would require it, maybe say if i was responding to a user, giving some advice and wanted to "refer" or "call in" another member that hadn't already posted on the thread (e.g "I think [MENTION=16192]Phil Hobson[/MENTION] has done something like that before, [MENTION=16192]Phil Hobson[/MENTION] would be the best bloke to talk to about it". Is there a way of incorporating an address book so as when i get to @P it predictively gives me a list of users beginning with "P" to choose from?

The predictive thing (like when you pm somebody and it starts to fill in the name for you) isn't available right now for the mentions. And....

Had to post that to see your other question. It isn't case sensitive. So you can write Phil Hobson all in lower case and it'll still bell him.
