Moisture resistance
For areas subjected to high levels of,
and/or prolonged exposure to,
moisture and humidity, Knauf
Moistureshield is designed to be the
ideal gypsum board solution. Where
such areas also need to combine
increased fire resistance with
moisture resisting capabilities then
Knauf Fire Moistureshield may
be used.
For tiled areas, and particularly high
traffic ones such as kitchens, Knauf
Aquapanel cement board is the
perfect solution.
found this if it helps

I've just won a job where the fella has built his new house with this stuff right through - It's just a cement board I thinks:smilewinkgrin: Like HBB:thumbsup:

I havent come across it before, It hasnt been laid yet so I cant go and look at it, its going to be over ufh in a conservatory

if its like hbb then I will be able to tile to it

Ill do as mark says and ring knaufs tech dept

Deffo your best bet Mike:thumbsup:
Luckily the job I've got is all wall tiling, so I didn't need to look in to the stuff:thumbsup:
If I remember rightly, the boards aren't very big, so lot's of joints:thumbsdown:

this sounds like aqua panel, the ufh goes on top of this not under.
no mate

its not aquapanel, I spoke to the client tonight, its been specified as it transfers heat from the ufh better than chipboard and is lighter than screeding over

Ive asked her to speak to her architect and explain she wants a tiled floor and see what he comes back with

I cant see the point in it as I can slc over the ufh and tile on that, the heat will transfer quicker with that arangement and will save her paying to have the brio floor laid

Its all off plan at the moment as she has only had the drawings done for the conservatory, its timber built not a upvc jobbie and theres no consevatory installers involved
