Sad thing is Mike most customers would not know a good job, if it fell on their head. This type of work should be broadcast to the public.

That's shocking, really shocking!! I've got some some pics of a bathroom company's work somewhere. They had 2 tilers, 2 labourers doing 2 bathrooms and were in there 3rd week as i started a 25m2 + ufh and finished before them lol. Dot and dab on walls and when one saw me combing the floor, asked 'oh, you stick em down like that do you?' lol

My guess is he came out of each corner at different starting heights, then just filled in the gap in the middle!!!! It looks like a game of tetris (but not quite as neat :lol

when i checked the levels on the walls they were out by about 10mm from end to end. He seems to have started inside the shower cubicle and just run the first tile from the tray without checking the levels at all. the whole room slopes up and down as he has tried to rectify the slope but only made it worse.

That's winner of bodge of the century sorted eh!! That tiling is so bad, I'm amazed the person kept going with it until all tiled!? Surely after sticking 2 or 3 tiles on they would have realized they were out there depth!??

The sad part of this story is a qualified tiler missed out on the job . the customer wanted cheap and paid for it,the cowboy got paid and will do it again.and in the process's tilers get a bad name /
