Hi this is a new member. What reccomendation would you have for cleaning
1.the tile inserts (Victorian, original all intact) in my cast iron fireplace insert. The tiles have been removed from the insert which is being cleaned.
2.The hearth tiles - some of these have broken mostly clean breaks - is there an adhesive I can use to glue them back together? What about using epoxy filler as used with Travertine? Waterproof wood glue/ Polyuratane glue?I'm not trying to make it look like new but like a careful restoration that shows its age.
Any advice welcome
