Key word is 'From'. All he needs is for his phone to ring with a customer attracted by his rates. He can then explain to them that £12.50 is just for labour, or that £12.50 is the price you pay when you want more than 50sqm tiled (no windows or sockets).

Just look at Michael O'Leary and Ryanair. 1p flight equals 1p + tax + credit card charge etc.

Just look at double glazing. 7 windows for £nnn (small print: as long as you do not want them to open)

The main objective of his advert is to attract potential customers. This guys phone probably rings 5 times a day! and he might even be a good tiler!

Cheers Sean

you pay peanuts nine times out of ten u get poles that havnt got a clue we took over from some polish tilers on the westerwood hotel in cumbernauld and what we were taking over from was a joke took us a month to rectify the mess left but glad to say clients were happy with end result
i was on that job about 3 years ago now and walked off after 2hrs,due to various things i seen them doing.

if your good at what you do and you have a regular client base and sound reputation, then these prices shouldnt worry anybody on here anyway..
All these prices do is make it hard to try and clinch a job if you are double this price, does nothing for the industry imo but you are entitled and i do appreciate your opinions, who knows you might be right m8,unfortunately.

they usually just put them under the counter or in the bin.Thats what happened to mine when i put them on the counter but nobody actually knew what happened to them when i confronted them.

the prices are an absolute joke, these guys are the reason why prices are varying so much nowadays, and why so many customers think they can get a job done on the cheap and still expect it to be of great quality!
lets be honest you would struggle to make any money if you are using decent materials and paying tax on that kind of price!

if you want a professional job done by professional people then it's going to cost a proper wage price! no if or but's!

would any from here expect a plumber to come and fit a gas combi boiler for £75(a bit extreme, but you get where i'm coming from)

these guys are the reason why you get so many edgy customers, most of them have been stitched up or know someone who has been left an absolute mess of a job by some wahoo!:incazzato:
