Check tiles with customer if not sure?

Went to my local tile supplier on Saturday he told me a story about a professional tiler in my area who tiled a bathroom for a customer last week, only 8sqm in white tiles, but a box of pink tiles got picked up by mistake, anyway he thought she wanted them dotted around...oops no she didn't!!! if in doubt ask. I had this with a stone boarder tile from fired earth i put a boarder around a bathroom but the one to go around the ceiling was slightly darker, the women worked in London so i took a pic on my phone and text her the pic and they where wrong, and at £16 each and around 40 of them could of been expensive..

Always clarify exactly what the design entails before fixing...oh and women do tend to change their minds,so calling round the night before to refresh your memory is always a good thing.....Gaz

yes!! always check..not be the first time i have collected wrong tiles and had to re-order...lol..lol.....dave...

They always want feature tiles in no paticular pattern then they say 'I thought they'd be different to that.'

The poor get, imagine finishing off grouting and the woman walks in to tell you they are the wrong tiles. Think i would be tempted with a "keep your money i'll get my coat"
