One thing that was mentioned was levels and their accuracy. Levels going out seem to be an occupational hazard. I'm a great believer in checking the level on a line by turning the level around and seeing if it gives the same reading in both directions. If it doesn't then the level will be out.
This way you know you've got a problem as soon as you start a job, and not when you're nearly finished.
