I'm not really following your description.
However as a general rule of thumb I take the room as a whole and sometimes a comprise is inevitable. The only time I don't follow that rule is because of a specific request from the client or whoever is in control of the finishes. I also generally run the setting out plan past them too, just to be sure everybody's happy. Then it's not my fault haha
 
Awesome idea but sadly with my tile size the space on each side of the full tile is 6 mm bigger than the full tile so I'd have a big gap around the edge, I think ill go with the two small cuts in the threshold as im a novice!! And can get confused very easily!!

If it hadn't of been for that I would def have went for the small cuts below the rad! Thanks for the advice, really appreciated :)
 
There's possibly still a chance that could work! I over boarded the floor on in where the bottom row of wall tiles comes to meet the floor and just measured the Hardie so I could come up with a rough idea on paper of a layout so I might just scrape the six mm when the wall is tiled or maybe close enough for the Silicon to hide it! Will know better tomorrow when I go up to plan out
