I personally wouldn't throw a whole room out over one or two cuts unless it was specifically asked for.

Thats my plan, just wondered what you guys would think of opening a door into a room and the first row being 10cm!

But if u don't u'll be left with a smaller cut on far wall. The only other way is to centre between far wall and threshold. It'll leave u a small cut beneath rad but it's under the rad and less noticeable.

Awesome idea but sadly with my tile size the space on each side of the full tile is 6 mm bigger than the full tile so I'd have a big gap around the edge, I think ill go with the two small cuts in the threshold as im a novice!! And can get confused very easily!!

If it hadn't of been for that I would def have went for the small cuts below the rad! Thanks for the advice, really appreciated 🙂

There's possibly still a chance that could work! I over boarded the floor on in where the bottom row of wall tiles comes to meet the floor and just measured the Hardie so I could come up with a rough idea on paper of a layout so I might just scrape the six mm when the wall is tiled or maybe close enough for the Silicon to hide it! Will know better tomorrow when I go up to plan out

That should work just fine.

Mark your centre line then mark a tile in the centre & that should leave you a bigger cut either side.
Don't use your actual centre of the room as a grout line, use this centre line in the centre of your tile if you get what I mean?

Thats what I am doing Stef as the room is so small! At the threshold three tiles approx wide! Thanks for your help

No probs I'll fire up some pics of the walls. Not finished yet! Very slow and I've learned so much its unreal! But enjoying it as its so different from my trade ( panelbeater )
