I wasn't too impressed with the way he emphasised he has concentrated on his contract deal over the last day and a half, rather than meeting the players.....a cynical man could read something into that.....rrr:

would you says he's a winner Liz??, The Toon Army deserve a top top manager, it's shambolic that it's god knows how long since they got any silverware to match their support. They need another Bobby Robson.

Why is there so much interest about NUFC - 'they're not a top club!'
I can understand 50,000 local fans being concerned at another change at OUR club, but it's on every news/radio channel and as yet I haven't been interviewed for my views :lol:.

Football is a business and as NUFC have no debt, are in the Premier League, and will no doubt attract 52,000 fans for saturdays game v Liverpool - it sounds as though its a pretty solid going concern.

Alan Pardew has a 5 year contract and I wish him well for the sake of the Newcastle United supporters.
