I use these, purely and simply because the flip up handle allows more purchase when tightening, and there’s less chance of tearing my gloves.

I have both this type and the Bosch type, and the makita ones (pictured) are the better of the two.. a million times better than using those blasted grinder keys

:rolleyes:I just have 4 grinders with different cutters or sanding disc so no keep changing
Yeah I’m same as you Julian, well a few more actually :D but I still find myself changing blades and polishing discs quite often, every bloody slab cuts different, not unusual to change cutting blade between slabs.

:p I don’t take them everywhere haha

I have electrical distribution points built in to my work table so that I’m not tripping on cables, so two 110v are permanently attached to the table more or less.
A 9 series Bosch for heavier work.
The Bosch variable speed only come in 240v for polishing.
The 240v grinders I occasionally have on site depending on site set up.
But they’re mainly for any fabrication I do at home.
The flex are for heavier polishing jobs that need the torque and also for floor grinding when it’s on a small scale.
And the Metabo is just pretty. :D
And has it’s uses if I need to adjust something away from my work station.

There you are, all totally justified. :p
