Cleaning Slate Tiles

Hi,
I have laid a rubber backed mat onto sealed slate tiles which seems to have caused a chemical reaction. The rubber has left a sticky residue on the tiles - I have tried soaking, stiff brush and mild detergeant to no avail.
The sealant I used is Lithofin, will Lithofin Wax Off take the residue off as well as the sealant?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

try the wax off as per the instructions on the carton you will have to do all the floor . you will then have to re'apply a stone finish let us know how you get on!!
