Hi guys, back again just for some quick advice

Ive finished tiling the downstairs WV (woohoo!) in some trav and am now ready to seal before grouting.

What do you reccomend to clean with? they arent stained... just some powdery swirls where ive been wet cutting them and wiped them after.

Just a good scrub with soapy water? / just water on its own? or a special product?

will be using ltp mattstone to seal

edit.. found this. Would this be suitable? how many square metres would 470ml cover?

Dave, if it's just general dried on dust/ adhesive then you should be just fine with warm water. I always wash down one whole wall with sponge, then using a fresh bucket of water wipe them down with a damp microfibre cloth. This usually removes it perfectly. If anything is stubborn, then you could always use LTP grimex but from the sound of it water will suffice. Don't forget to let the stone dry fully before sealing.

What are you using to apply the LTP mattstone?

Hi Geoff! Thanks very much. Water its is then.

As for applying the sealer... when I did the limestone floor.. I recall using 'clean' rags.

What would you suggest?

Just make sure it is totally dry in all the nocks & crannies. (Pits to u northern folk)

thanks guys.

Also had a mare! tiled for a grohe air push plate for the concealed cistern and its actually a mechanical button valve! so i need to try and find an air push assembly and fit it to the cistern, without removing it! aargh
