Cleaning travertine walls in shower cubicle

Tilers Forums Official Sponsors

Hi all
I have a Roman shower cubicle tray which is made of a stone resin compound.
The walls are unfilled travertine which desperately need cleaning.
I have bought LTP Grimex, but I don't know if it's safe to use as it will undoubtedly come into contact with the shower tray.
Does anyone know if LTP Grimex will damage the shower tray?

I emailed Roman and they say to use only warm soapy water.
I emailed LTP and haven't had a reply.

Thanks
Pete

A lot of shower trays are acrylic capped so potentially might get damaged when in contact with the Grimex. I just thought I should mention it in case that was overlooked. I can’t tell you if the Roman Tray is indeed acrylic capped stone but so many are these days.

I looked at the data sheet for the Grimex but it didn’t mention much about materials I’m afraid.

Thanks for your reply Waluigi
I emailed LTP again just now. They apologised for not responding earlier and asked me to send a pic of the tray, which I just done, and their response was that Grimex will not affect the tray.

So that's my day sorted!

All the best
Pete
