I won't mention the users name at this point until i've asked him, but this is not a stunt. Draw you own conclusions

Best regards

Thats wot I thought too!

It looks good to me, and the guy that did it is well happy. Any other method would require a wider Silicon joint, which is not a problem, just use the next size of tape. It looks much better than going from thick to thin joints to mask up the uneven surface.

Its ,even, neat and tidy. So how would you guys do it.

Best regards
Andy

Ah! now I see where you are coming from. In that case, it appears to have done the job. Would have been even better to have an even gap in the first place though, I am sure you agree.

would have been better Russ if he had both eyes open when appling the corner tape....

Yes i do agree, this was his first attempt I believe and I think that he used the 4mm CT, he's will now be using 6mm in the future. We liken the 6mm tape as being the same as using your finger, i.e the same size joint. But to be honest I think that it looks really really good as it is, but if you're a perfectionist then the 6mm would solve the problem for you.

Come and see us at the 'tile and stone show' in june and we'll see what we can do. I'll be demonstrating the new 2.5mm CT but if you're no good at putting your tiles on straight it will show how crap you are, hehe.

Best regards
Andy
