Used CT for a bit of practice in my garage onto plasterboard wall and i was realy impressed. Used it today on tiles and it was difficult to get it to stick to the tiles, then when i tried to peel the clear plastic off it kept pulling the silver foil strip with it, i also found it awkward to apply in tight areas so now not so sure.......sorry mate!

I'm really surprised that you got on better applying it onto plasterboard to be honest all i can say is that the problem that you experienced is normally down to the fact that the surface was not totally clean or dry or that you have a faulty roll.

The surface may look clean but the only way to be sure is to use an ethanol based cleaing wipe, we will be adding this to the range of products. Again, regardless of using CT or not we would always recommend using that type of wipe before applying any Silicon as it gives the joint the best chance of lasting over time.

Best regards
Andy

WD40.........

WD-40 protects metal from rust and corrosion, penetrates stuck or jammed parts, displaces moisture, and lubricates just about anything. WD-40 is also great when it comes to cleaning grease, grime, and other marks from most surfaces.

It's a lubricant, thats why it didn't stick.......brightened my day up no end, that!
