Cowboy Trap just as bad as Homebase.

I posted a thread last week about Homebase recommended thickness of ply which they said 9mm, just watched Cowboy Trap and guess what,they recommended the same thickness they of got the bad guys in.

I've seen a few episodes of Cowboy Trap and the 'after' pictures are rough to say the least. They never seemed to get hold of the 1st Cowboys though but instead Clive Holland just says...

"you know who you are, and we know who you are and pretty soon Trading Standards will know too"

Agree,but he has started to go way over the top.

Holmes on homes is great, he is passionate about building, having said that, I did see some less than perfect tiling work done by his no2, don't know if he employs a specialist tile guy

Two other tilers around me using 9mm ply and seemingly getting away with it. One was even talking about a new van as he was doing so well. Makes me want to throw it all in at times.

When i was an apprentice way back in the dark ages my old boss took a job on it was laying mosaic on a wood floor in them days every floor was done with sand and cement so this one he decided to stick it using Bal-Flex on hardboard which was stapled,next day all the sheets had curled up with the mosaic still stuck,he soon learned by his mistake and he had been tiling since the war.I couldn,t stop laughing :yikes::lol:
