here,tony,we aint arguing which is quicker or which is better, different ways for different cuts for different tiles,thats whats being said mate,don't see what your getting at reallyaggree it can be cut, but maby grinder quicker ?
iv managed to cut curves in porcelain with a 105mm ultra thin porcelain cutting blade lent to me think black diamond do them ? has anyone had sucess with dish shaped blades for cutting curves in tiles?
I usually use cardboard or lino to make a template, transfer it onto the tile, cut it and then fettle it.I agree that the cutting is the easiest part and its all down to the marking!....generally use a compass to mark my tiles but ive seen these profile gauges in screwfix.. not sure how they rate compared to the compass.. what do you guys use to get the curve shape?
