:yikes:

Was due to start a 48m Limestone floor next week.

Hemi hydrate floor, with piped UFH down a good few months.Durabase Ci to be laid, then Multi sized Limestone.

I have asked the customer more than once if it has been tested? Have been told yes.......now I found out she assumed I meant pressure tested, not actually switched on and run.

They haven't even even had the boiler fitted yet :yikes:

Customers.......:mad2:

Seems like I have stirred up a hornets nest. :yikes:

I went to see this customer this morning, and after telling her that I will not/can not tile until this floor is connected,Tested......then left for a good 48 hours, she rang her builder........who then rang me. Telling me that she was ranting and in tears to him. (I did tell her that, although it's only a hiccup.....more than a pain.....it's not the end of the world) Anyway, I explained to this builder, who has had enough of this customer (done a lot for them over the last 5 years) that it cannot be tiled until all of the above.
He tells me that he has spoken to a plumber, and the company that pumped this screed, and they apparently said it CAN be tiled before the heating goes on, but he will do as I suggest, but cannot get back to the job for 2 weeks. He also tells me that he's on the verge of telling her to naff off and walking away. I think she's great btw.......she does as I suggest, and then leaves me to it.

Anyway.........needed to get that off my chest, and I have already sorted OTHER work for next week anyway.

Cheers All.......gonna have a couple of hours on settee now **yawn** Then a few :8:

I'm on a job at the moment and the builder feels the same, must be the weather.
