I've had a quote provisionally agreed to cut and supply a company with approx 1/2 million marble mosaic tiles all about 10mm x 10mm x 5mm thick.
Basically at the moment I'm running cut rods through a Plasplugs Contractor Plus (500 watt, 150mm disc) to get 5mm thick rods and then cutting these into individual pieces with a hammer and hardie.
The problem at the moment is that passing the rods through the saw is fairly slow so....

The problem at the moment is that passing the rods through the saw is fairly slow so....
- Should I get a more powerfull saw (bear in mind I need a saw that doesn't have a gap of more than 4mm between the blade and the top cover)
- Or will the work be faster if I used more expensive diamond blades?
