D 24000 cutting larger tiles

Hi,
i´d like to buy me a new wet saw. my first choice is the dewalt d 24000.
the cutting lenghts about the saw is 610mm. but i´ve heard that there is a trick to cut larger tiles than that.
so is here anybody who can explain me that trick?

ok, thanks for that tip. now i´m smarter about the trick.
if you plunge and turn the tile you´ll get a cutting lenghts about 1200mm.
that sounds good.

The cutting length is longer than 600mm.. here is some info for you..

Cutting Capacity:

• Max cut length: 760mm (plunge and cut)
  (can be increased to over 1,000mm by plunging and turning tile)
• Max cut lenght: 660 mm (no plunge)
• Widest tile cut in half at 90° 660 mm
• Widest tile cut in half 45° 450 mm

Right i can assure you that it will cut 660mm in one pass. Just measured it.

So tradetilers measurements is correct...

Also the measurement you got fibman, might be the older model, tradetilers are the version 2..
