Day work meterage

These examples are from my own experience from what local tiling contractors expect

My local contractors expect anywhere between 10-15 m2 per day wall tiling ie new houses etc. slash backs, en suites and bathrooms.

if you were doing floors say, 300 x 300, 400 x 400 or 600 x 6oo, they would expect 15-20 meters per day.

saying that, a good tiler could easily do 25m2 floor tiling a day if its straight forward and if you have a labourer doing your mixing and cuts, then 40m2 is achievable and more.

obviously mosaics, victorian and bespoke work is going to be much more detailed and time consuming.

so if you were doing 5m2 on the above, then you'd be probably sent packing at dinner time..
