Yep minky pies for me. ANd of course xmas pud with brandy custard!
Also that italian raisin sponge cake stuff, think thay call it panacotta??

Its called pantonni......pannacotta is the creamy dessert stuff.

Bit confused thisyear, I've given up sugar!! Maybe I really will just have it as a treat, and my favourite is all the German stuff, the marzipan, the Lebkuchen (spicy ginger bread) and plain old chocolate, hmmmm, I reckon I can make some of the treats with honey though.... like baking.... like dates and figs and hazelnuts, too...doesn't need much more than that....new recipes are born as we speak...and cinnamon and nutmeg.... and....

Dave, we just started another job with our British customer in Washington DC. I casually mentioned this thread and asked what mince pies are. She immediately responded that she will bring some to us the next time she makes some. (how did I know this would happen?):drool5:
