[Diamond Pool Finishers]

i have been tiling at home today !, i'am refitting my cloakroom on the ground floor, so had my cutter-out in the sunshine here in wales today, its still got the blade it came with on -it , its in good nick, but as the blade go's through i have been getting some break-out at the end of the cut ,so i reverted to cutting the end first about 50mm in then cutting from the front and it has been fine, just wondering if anyone else gets this with there 24000, thanks :hurray:?

On some tiles yes, others no. I have noticed if I hold the tile down firmly it doesn't do it

I generally run the blade over the cut about 2mm deep then do the full cut seems to stop the break out you are describing

Had mine in the van for a couple of months now and hardly ever need to use it.
The blade it came with must be ok though as I was getting 12mm wide inlay pieces from Star Galaxy 600mm .

I'm the same, I loaned mines to a friend (tiler) a few months ago and haven't seen it since... I've said this a few times now and will say again, it's for stone not ceramic or porcelain

I use the plunge as well as the slide when cutting with it, so have never noticed this issue. I only use mine for stone though so can't be sure what it's like on porcelain/ceramic.
