Hi all, just thought I would tell anyone thinking of getting a new Dewalt tile saw that shawselectrical.co.uk are doing them for £718.80 inc vat.

Just saw it and thought it sounded cheap didn't really read it too much. My bad. I actually have the brutus version of the dewalt myself, good saw. Now that is a lot cheaper.

It does come with a stand but not the extra blade like tradetiler.

I disagree, mine has performed flawlessly but I will try something else next time.

They are ok on porcelains etc but i agree total crap on Stone.. wear very quickly...hence DNA blade..

Are these saw a worth will purchase then? what is the water splash back like when in use. Used the Rubi DW-250-N and the splash back was unbeliveable. Soaked the garage where being used

I used to have the rubi saw you mention.. now have the dewalt.. unreal piece of kit.

Nico I've recently bought one of these saws and they are well worth the money, water splash is minimal you'll be amazed cuts great even with dewalt blade. Arrival of dna blade next week will make it even better.

I've had mine a year or so now, brilliant tool, have done some really bespoke work with it that just wouldn't have been possible before, clean and accurate cuts every time.

So I take it from the feedback I should start putting money by for one of these then ha. So Ishi when ur saying water splash is to a minimal could it be used in a properties or best to still use it out door when you can. Just wondering cause there has been time as we all have being stuck up the top floor of a set of flats ha ha

I've used mine indoors loads, still put a sheet down as there is a bit of mist, no splashing though.
