Opinions on this please. Did a quote for a kitchen splash back a few weeks ago 5m2, job included removal of old tiles and making good walls for re tile.
Anyway quoted £250 including materials they agreed to price after trying to haggle me down. (thought it was a fair price).
Took tiles off and made good the walls, not much damage took half a day, took old tiles to the dump for them.
They were to call me once new kitchen had been fitted, got a call today a week later than they said the would call. Said they had one more small unit added into kitchen which would make the tiling half m2 less and would thought I should reduce my price by £35. Explained it did not make much difference and price stood as agreed . I said you can try and get it cheaper if you want but you will have to pay me for taking tiles off .
Which they agreed to :mad2:
Does anyone think it was too expensive & think I should have lowered my price?

should have been dearer m8! wouldn't have done it for less than £300
-day 1 -remove old tiles and flush up wall(full day even if you finish early)
-day2-tile and grout(full day)+cost of materials

to be honest i think cause you priced it so chaep they thought they could knock you down,at the end of the day you are there doing a job and they have to pay for you being there for the day
