Nearly there, ready to start. Just last check with you guys - I hope.
60 x 60 Porcelaine polished tiles on new screed floor.
Got the Bal green screed, got the Ditra mat and using Bal CTF 3 as a non flexible porcelaine adhesive ( I assume this is ok?)
Quick panic as this is a polymer modified adhesive and Ditra states non modified adhesive - what should I use please???
After reading all the ditra stuff I see it says use a "thin set" mortar - 20kg to do 14 -18 sq mtr. Ive only got 5 sq metre to do, which on the Bal bag says 20kg does. For Ditra to screed for this job do you recommend I thin it down a lot more i.e. 3 times. Advice please.
Re: trowels. Schulter recommend 6x5mm for screed to ditra, and 6mm x 10mm ditra to tile . Is this correct please as the tile shop gave me a 13mm floor trowel?
I'm using 3mm spacers
many thanks again
