Would u use a rubber type expansion joint ? I've seen dural make a kinda Silicon u can use as a expansion I've just bin reading the literature

yeah, i used that for the first time a few weeks ago. It's an 2 part colour coded epoxy. I used it on trav as it gives more protection to the edge but if porc i'd use Silicon or preformed as quicker and cheaper.

It's gonna be grouted with ultra colour plus in mid grey so they make make matching Silicon so I'll go with that as they are porcelain tile 600x600 stone effect

And another question I always thought u used no flex adhesive to fix to the ditra is that rite ?

i think anything bar an s2, i'd go with an spf as it's ply though

Hmmm so you can't fix ditra/dural with an S2 even on a screed?

I'm using weber spf to fix the ditra to the floor but what would u use to fix the porcelain tile to the ditra ?
