Yes its a fiver a bag dearer than setaflex.is TM S2 one of the most expensive adhesive they do Andy? And how new is 'new screed' green?
over kill in my opinionYes its a fiver a bag dearer than setaflex.
The screed went down Friday, rapid dryer..good to go in 48hrs I was told, gonna stick and tape the Dural though to be sure
In what way? For an extra £40 in materials?over kill in my opinion
Probably might be overkill mate, surely better that than under for an extra £40 thought it wasn't worth scrimpingan S1 would be find surely if it was Ditra, I will defer to your knowledge on dural matting as I don't us it
I've spoken to Gerard from dural and I'm sure he said anything but s2. He seemed quite knowledgeable and used to work for shluter.H I rang TM and Homelux(that make Dural) today..
TM said ultimate S2 perfect for sticking Dural to newscreed.
Homelux said..."erm what's an S2"
I'm going with TM advice mate
Hahaha don't know the geezers name I spoke to but lets just say he wasn't over knowledgeable, best straight answer I got was use anything as long as its flexible, perhaps the guy had just moved over....I've spoken to Gerard from dural and I'm sure he said anything but s2. He seemed quite knowledgeable and used to work for shluter.
Out of those two replies I'd be going with tm too for sure!
Ah now that makes a bit more senseRight,I think I got muddled up Andy. It was anything but s2 on top of the durabase as it's too deformable and therefore defeats the object of the decoupler.
That makes sense to me.
