Was talking to the Topps manager yesterday. He told me that they had cause for the Area Manager to visit a customer complaint. Apparently the adhesive wasn't sticking the tiles to the floor and the were all bumpy?? Turns out the Diyer had decided to lay the tiles directly onto the carpet!!!!!

Another customer thought that underfloor heating was installed on top to the tiles and did so!!!

There's hope for us all.

:6:All it takes is a bit of research......can't be that had to find the correct method for installation can it.....?

F-ing priceless... Tiling onto a carpet and putting underfloor heating on top of tiles isn't merely ignorance; it's stupidity.

There used to be a Greek tiler around my area who once tiled over a carpet in a local pub.
It was one of those glued down 'needle punch' carpets.
The crazy feker SLC'd over the top of it and tiled the next day.
Amazingly the tiles stayed down for years.:whatchutalkingabout

Brilliant, You could'nt make this stuff up, someone needs to write book on the diy disasters:grin:

Haha - although amazing, it is sadly not unbelieveable! Thanks for passing on though. 🙂
