Does anybody have any opinion about localtraders com ????

Hi People,
I'd like to ask you for your advice. Does anybody have any opinion about localtraders com?
Is it worthy of paid money?
They called me today and were offering their services: building of website, providing leads to customer inquiries etc.

So many cons out and about..........I find it hard to trust any of them.

So they all get the same response..........and it usually ends with "Off"

Theyre out to make money from you somehow, if you have plenty of work from having a good name I wouldnt bother, if it works for you then go for it !! !!

Ask them to provide you a lead and if you get the job you'll pay them then, they'll soon hang up the phone. They are all pants IMO, my wife's mate has just had her bathroom done by someone off check a trade and it's shocking

Localtraders.com very pushy people and if they dont you, then they become nasty over the phone they wont take no for an answer.Ive had this happen to me the price starts off high then reduces until they snare you,even after you say no they dont give up,must of had about ten calls from them.Tell them to do one.

I did sign up to them and didn't have 1 call. Complete waste of money. They blagged me and read out some of the leads but trust me they are a crap company.

I too signed up a couple of years ago-guy on the phone promised all sorts cost about £120 for the year which I didn't think was too bad but never had 1 call which was appalling imo then just before the year was up,automatically took a payment from my account without permission or a letter of reminder. I was really annoyed and phoned and complained and was told by the lady that I should have read the terms and conditions and as a gesture of goodwill they would upgrade my subscription to go on their website as well.Still had no calls. Stay clear of these people a big waste of money-cant believe they are still in business.
