Did a big floor in a house with 2 labs that rulled the house.

Brushed and vacuum'd before grouting but still had to pick loads of dog hairs out of it. Pain!
Still i didnt get attacked, more licked to death...not in a good way!

I've just finished a dry lining job at a house.

I've done work for them before. They've got 3 dogs. One goes to work with the daughter every day. When I do see it it barks at me constantly and has to be kept in a cage to stop it from stressing out. The other two aren't too bad. They are fine when the third dog isn't around.

The owners have a stairgate to stop the two other dogs from going upstairs, more for the dogs' sake than theirs. One of them has bad hips and whilst it can go up without a problem, it can't come down very easily.

He wanted me to keep shutting the stairgate everytime I went upstairs, the job is in the main bedroom. As you can imagine, with a small bedrooom and a large bed I had about 3 feet to work in! So all materials had to be cut outside. Several trips, shutting the stairgate each time wasn't an option unless the customer wanted to pay the extra time taken to do the job, so we agreed that the dogs be shut in the lounge whilst I'm going up and down the stairs.

i know what you mean cj a did a bathroom a while back and the owner had 2 rhodesian ridgebacks and for a full 8 hours they dogs just sat and stared at me as if i was their next meal i made sure all the tiling was done in 1 shift and sent back the apprentice to grout the following day
(THANK GOD FOR APPRENTICES)

CJ you need to stand up to that dog, show it whos the boss good god man haven't you been watching the 'Dog Whisperer', sort it out :lol:lol

Well, job has been finished...........and fully paid for, with £20 tip

Loading up my van today, Maisy, the shetland pony with teeth, would no stop whining everytime I went to the van.....the owner of said beast said she has never acted like this before

Had to spend quite a bit of time rubbing her tum this morning........the dog not the customer . She was like putty in my hands.

Maybe it had something to do with the jumbo mars bar she scoffed when my back was turned.....paper and all :yikes:

Anyway.......I finished the job with all limbs still attached, and just a sore right foot from constant assaults on it.........but alls well that ends well
