nor me....was never any good at wood work at school, once sawed the bench in half..:yikes: wondered why the saw dust off the wood had changed colour ..lol

I used to use my grinder on top of my tool box with no cutting board, it's had to go in the bin now! I think one of my dry cutters has got some grinder marks on it as well. I'm a lot more careful with my tools now

£20 to supply & fit. Brass/Silver/Stainless Steel/Chrome/Square edge/Z bar, there are so many different kinds. You really have to think like Michael O'Learly (Ryanair) these days and charge for everything. If the customer is getting new carpets then I leave it to the carpet fitters to supply & fit.

Wow, that is some nice carpet John!

It's my own stairs and landing carpet Geoff, entrance into my bathroom done last year, The carpet has been down 10 years and it cost me £1200 for 14 steps bound and whipped with stair rods and landing area. It's still like new. Cost a lot but well happy with it.

I noticed it was expensive mate. Shame there isn't more of it around nowadays, it's all nylon type rubbish today in creams & greys. Give me a deep pile quality carpet any day!
