The multi tool is king for undercutting, every tiler should own one.How many if you who don't/won't cut plinths or doors to finish undercut architrave and casings to slide your tiles under??
Always done threshold strips, haven't learnt how to hang a door yet, that's next on my syllabus
Sounds fun!Easy on a square, plumb casing but after that it's all downhill Bri, just done one today where I've had to trim 3.5" and 2.5" top and bottom because its a slightly shorter casing and then retrim the top and bottom for stability as its a hollow door.
So plinths5mm maximum clearance.
I trim plinths too. It's not rocket science
So plinths
Q1, do you charge or this?
Q2, fine circular saw? Jigsaw? Blade type advise.
Cheers
I've fitted a few kitchens of my own but plinths, not had much success with.

Note on the door to floor clearance. there are occasions where this is governed by building regs. to give the required ventilation. eg new wet room to existing building I think is 10mm gap required under a 760 wide door but i'm no expert on this so you need to check!
