Door Trimming

So plinths
Q1, do you charge or this?
Q2, fine circular saw? Jigsaw? Blade type advise.

I've fitted a few kitchens of my own but plinths, not had much success with.

Personally I prefer a hand saw.
Masking tape along the top edge. Measure everywhere carcus to floor where two cabinets meet. Because of how the majority of kitchen cabinets are made these tend to be the lowest part if the unit.
Take off 2-3mm and mark on the taped edge of the plinth, draw a line with a straight edge and cut with the hand saw.

Tidy up the cut edge with a bit of sandpaper and fit.

I agree, it might mean the difference from getting the job or not, particularly when starting out, shame those saws that trim doors while still on the frame are so expensive.
