Dot and Dab tiles!!

I refer back to my post 22 when I said that dot n dabbing the tiles is the way to get round not having to prepare walls. Hence he has cut corners in order to save HIM time and money.

Luckily you spotted the problem and it's going to cost HIM time and money now.

Hi all, just an update, received all of our goods, few bits damaged which my dad has gone to return to them today to be replaced, we have now found a trusted person to continue with the work. The original fitter claims that he is re-ordering tiles for me but I'm doubtful of this to be honest. My Dad is ripping out tiles today, as per recommendation of new bathroom guy and we are starting from scratch, will have to cope with half a toilet/bathroom for a while, god I wish we had a second bathroom at times like this?? Maybe I should get a port-a-loo for the garden?! lol

Yes they have a website etc, just reluctant to do anything more if they are supposedly re-ordering my tiles at the moment, my Dad has started removing the tiles and the adhesive was still dam underneath some of them, complete cowboys!!!

I have gone from being really upset about all this to being annoyed, I have 2 young children and they could have been in the shower/bath etc, a tile could have come off all because they wanted to cut corners, how can 'professionals' go away from a job like this and not be worried about what could happen after? Shameful!
