Dot and Dab tiles!!

Strange because even when I have had special order tiles for customers from either Italy or Spain it's normally around a fortnight from point of order to delivery.

I watched a re-run of Grand Designs the other week and in the background the "tiler" was fixing 600x600mm polished porcelain on the floor using dot and dab.......my wife raised more than an eybrow at my language. Must be getting old shouting at the telly.

On a serious note, Ive had to do so many repairs to leaky showers/baths over the last couple of years I never use tubbed adhesive anymore in wet areas. Its just not up to the job if any moisture makes it past the tiles. Saying that I hardly ever get anything other than porcelain or natural stone or just large format anyway so bagged adhesive is the only choice.

Just bumping some of the older popular (sometimes not so popular) threads. Probably wont be current discussion these days but I just need to do it. So just ignore the thread if it's not current for you.
