Totaly agree with you AndyP, i think we all try to make sure we get 100% coverage but i do think that there are always going to be voids under a few of the tiles no matter how much we try to avoid it and the only way we could ever tell if we were getting 100% is by pulling up every tile after we have laid it down to inspect it. And i for one aint doing that lol.
But i think as long as it's close enough no problems will ever occur cos it's like anything, if you were to get a tile and rest the 2 ends on a brick then you could probably smash through it very easily but if you were to put the 2 bricks closer together it would be much more difficult and if you put them much closer together say so there is a 10mm gap betwenn them then i dont reckon it would snap no matter what you did........ unless of course you hit it with a hammer or something.
