problems with gearboxes sorted 07 onwards.
never had problem with my vivaro. only thing i can fault is missing armrest. but I will get it sorted..

bearings in the gearbox, gear linkage, seized injectors its hard or imposibble to get out, fuel pump that "eats itself". top suspention mount dont last long. timong belt cover its a joke if alternator belt snaps. and thats not all

nice van Dave, got myself sorted now, ended up with a traffic ....wont go into detail or lizzardtong will tell me its about to blow up..lol....would of been nice to of met you hopefully some other time..

I've had my share of problems with my 07 Trafic but I'd still consider a vivaro which is much the same thing. My next investment looking like a lwb crew (need more seats) and preferably in that colour. Your van looks the biz Dave, health and enjoy and wishing you many more years happy driving and even more years pool finishing 😉

Thanks for all the positive comments guys , yes we have all heard of the problems with them , i think it is very much the luck of the draw and how you drive and how you maintain them !!, as to there longevity.
in your opinions what colour livery would look good against the metallic -gray ?

I run 2 ldv maxuses, both 2007 regs, both LWB Hi-tops, had both for just over 2 years - one costs me just over £600 every MOT, the other one flies through with no problems - definitely luck of the draw sometimes!

Mart.

don't really like VIVARO... :sofahide: and colour.... (only joking) enjoy Dave. Great van  (one day , when will make some money will have one too)

I think I'd go for white Dave, it'll really stand out and that's what advertising is all about

Health to enjoy Dave the pool man,
Tidy van and colour.
I had an '07 Trafic and no problems worth talking about and shifted it 5 months ago with 73k on it.
Mine was light silver metallic with graphics, blue, green, white and black !!
Currently have a VW Transporter in white signwritten too with same colours in grahics.

I bought same van this time last year in silver.
i played around with colours for signage and the more I played the more difficult it got.
i still have not got it done but not because of cost.
i will do soon and will link the colour of signage to the two key colours on my website.
worth a think about what colours you already use for other areas where yo advertise your work.
metallic graphite darker than what you have would look pretty good I think .
black or white too radical.
I have never had a van sign written before but I think it is definitely worth it.
the only problem I have is that two of my vehicles are silver and the transit metallic blue.
i am in two minds as to what colours I should use on the blue van

Nice van, I'm pretty sure we'll be organising one of those within the next 12 months. They look very good value for money.

Dave I had a 2008 vivaro cdti 115 swb , a few years back and I loved driving it , but just got caught out with bad luck, or a dodgey dealer ! the injectors had corroded really badly and were a disaster to get out , to cut a long story short it ended up costing me £1000 parts , labour etc,,, ! Though it wouldn't stop me buying a new vivaro again , but I'd be very weary of buying second hand again!!! Health to drive and I think white along with an Aqua blue or green colour would be smart looking !!

Looks the dogs do dahs Dave.......nice colour as well.

Everyone has a moan or groan about any van. Trafic for this, Vauxhall for that, VW for the other. Your either lucky or not, as when any of them go wrong, they all cost.
