I just get mine from B&Q, I need to invest in some more as the builder on a job the other week turned up without any so I let him use my clean ones to cover the furniture up as he knocked the fire place about and he took them!.

Charity shops do blankets and sheets for pennies.
But I get mine from contractor I'am working with - thanks Kev!

I get loads of free sheets and duvet covers from holiday lets when the owners buy new. Some of the last "dust" sheets I bought I'm the UK were such an open weave that dust and dirt just went straight through them! Old, lined, curtains are great for the floor and I tend to use the plastic sheet type for furniture etc then gently fold them into themselves when finished and bin them.

Agree you need decent ones.....not sure about turning up with antie Bessie old curtains though. ..don't think I looks very professional. .lol

Nowt better than a floral duvet cover over a new bath - I always tell them Aunt Bessie will be annoyed when she goes to bed tonight!

I, fortunately, usually work in empty houses so no one is there to see the dreadful designs and colours that some people used to have in their houses but have now found their true use.

I opt for decorating suppliers as they do good sizes in cotton dust sheets and have staircase sizes also example but shop around http://www.decorating-supplies.co.uk
