Personally then at 11 mtrs i wouldn't use one and leave enough on the perimeter joints..An uncoupling membrane would also be a very good safeguard to prevent tenting.

I agree with Dave on this one. Is this domestic or commercial? What sort of traffic is the floor likely to have?

Domestic job, kitchen floor. Customer won't have a decoupling membrane, says it cost too much !!!
