What is your favourite type of tiling?...tiling since a lad I was always at my happiest when working with any natural product. The more complicated the better, given the choice it was always floors mainly (I suppose thats why I don't tile anymore as a proffession).Origional style Victorian reproduction stuff, old renovations,or complicated in and out walls with mitred corners, mosaics and stuff.Usually most tilers would not want the hassle of this kind of work, therefore I could always command a heafty fee. What about you lot still active????

I love doing floors, concrete ones at that, take half the time walls do and the money is just as good, keep them conservatories coming my way. :)
OOOOOconnies used to tile one in a morning and grout one in the afternoon, roll over £1400 per week happy days were had by all!!

I worked all over spain using Yeso as an adh, hotels, to renovation cortigos. I miss the simplicity of everything being down to how good you are with your eye. Wasnt all about products, everything is concrete. Get to work, go for it, get as much down as possible, perfect. I'm now in a world of Chemical overload, I try to keep up but hey, every time I speak to the lads at Topps, we have a new object to play with. Great, make my life a bit easier boys!!
But you cant resist, even if it means pulling my 3month old Utility room tiles to have a blast.
Wheres my Paint splash trim anyway? My daughter wants to be a pussycat doll!!

Love plain old floors that are big and long and can bring in the cash personally. Although the jobs that involve turning a room into a wet-room type affair always got me going too, although they don't always pay aswell as the big floors.

Although I don't even own a trowel these days. :)
