this song is a classic cross genre song, is it punk/ska, rock/reggae? dunno, but a damned good tune by one of the best ever bands imo

then played your clash vid
back in the day i saw the clash live several times along with many others

we booed sting of stage when they started to play cos we didnt like the name of the band , the way they looked or what they were playing. a few months later they were in the charts,new sound,punk image but still the same stupid name

hes had the last laugh on all of us

we saw alot of up and coming bands when they were playing the pub circuit so got to drink with them as well

they were happy days when anything was possible

i voted hip-hop, but my real genre is not mentioned, which was the birth of hip-hop, electro................the nucleus of all synth sounds today. suger hill records, electros 1-13, then the hip-hop 14-23. class acts. love all genres really, if its been well produced it deserves a from me
