What you think.. My oldest son's first car..

Just been with him today to sort it out and he gets it next week.

Pics are auto trader but it is from a local garage..

Autotrader - RENAULT Clio 1.2 16v Extreme 4

Very nice for a first car, I'd have been proud. :)

Mine was a Mk2 Golf, C reg I think it was. Wasn't worth a penny but I loved it to bits. You always remember your first car and the clio's a nice one to have.

Love the V6 one but apparently it handles rubbish as the steering has been compromised due to the widening of the wheelbase. Wouldn't kick it out of bed though and all that.

My firsy car was a 1980 Fiesta, lol before moving onto a Talbot Sunbeam TI (wow, pure sex on wheels:drool5:)lol.
My lad is still 18 and is on his 5th car already :yikes:
There was a clio in there second i think, then Peugeot 306's took over.. he also put a Toyota Corolla on it's roof and mangled it(fool).
His first insurance was over £3000! down to £2200 now.
He has 2 306's now and my other lad has just bought one too(16 coming 17):incazzato:

Haha, brings back memories, had a mate who lived with me when I was in my early 20's and he had 3 205's. He loved them. Had another mate who had a 205 track car with an MI16 engine in it out of the 306's, rapid that was.

Though I have to say having 5 cars and not hitting 19 beats my own record and I've had quite a few cars for being under 30! haha

p.s. I rolled a saxo, also french, never wanted to touch a french car since. Though had a corolla (t-sport) and used to jump bridges in it (silly, but young at the time) and couldn't imagine managing to roll one of those, let alone one with a smaller engine. He wants to switch back to japanese and change his driving style me thinks lol
