Hi all, i'm about to tile my first floor, my own kitchen at 10sqm. I am using 450x450 ceramic tiles going onto a concrete floor.

I have pulled up some old vinyl tiles and am left with what i assume is a very thin layer of black bitumen based adhesive. Reading other threads on here, the majority seem to suggest using Bal SBR to prime over this before laying adhesive; without removing the bitumen first. Is this ok? And do i use this SBR neat by brushing on?

Secondly, which adhesive would be best on the concrete floor? Im not too sure what adhesive is best, there are so many to choose from. What about type of grout?

All help would be appreciated!!!
