first porcelain large format HELP!

Got my first porcelain bathroom to do on wednesday.Went round today to check what tiles are like.600 x300 about 12 mm thick. He's been given 2 tubs of bal whitestar ( 12sqmof wall tiling) but im not sure if this is ok to use> I thought it had to be powder gear like bal spf,but he said ctd gave him this to use! Would it be ok? Walls were previously emulsioned. Can i just key the surface or does it have to come right off? Also do i use an 8mm rubi wheel or 10 mm wheel on my dry rail cutter for porcelain? Cheers for any advice.

hi mate...white star is not suitable for that type of tile..use a spf adshesive.......
and grout with flexi grout as well..
remove as much of the emulsion as possible..either with a wire brush or roughed down with heavy-grade sand paper.. Then prime with suitable primer..i use bal bond sbr...8mm or 10mm wheel will be fine.......dave...
