don't cut 4mm off all the 200 x 200 tiles as some may need to be 200mm. trim them where required as you go along

No joints in the screed. The screed is solid the entire length of the house. It is poured onto the underfloor heating pipes which are tied to reinforcing mesh. I think it is about 100mm thick.

If you want to attach the plan then to the right of SUBMIT is Go Advanced. Hit that button and you will see an icon to the right of the smileys. Hit that button add your file from your PC and submit the file.

Im going to be blunt as well, this isnt a job for a novice. There is a MASIVE difference in DIY tiling a small floor and the job you are talking about. I wonder how much the stone and materials cost you, I bet you could have had the floor tiled by a pro in a different material for close to the same price and it would be done properly and last a life time.

As said above, starting with a small part of the floor to see how you get on is not a good idea as the floor could take a 6 months or a year to fail. Dont just think of how it looks, it must be done properly every step of the way in order to stop the tiles cracking and lifting.

Of course, this is your floor and your choice and we are happy to help in any way we can but my advice would be to contact Dave (admin) and ask him to put you in contact with a trusted pro to have a look at the job and give yoiu a quote, that way you can toss up the money side of things.
