What about on ..say.. A porcelain tile with a riven surface..?....so many new comers are having probs with grout residue...

Do aqua mix do a temp sealer than will help prevent grout from holding in the surface pitting..personaly i don't get any probs but would be good info
for our newer members to tiling to conscider..
Stone tiles no probs...and yes i agree sealers choice gold is very good.....i used the penertrating sealer but no where as good as SCG..

So from me...a  for aqua mix sealers....deffo better than getting high on solvents..

The Aqua Mix Floor Shine & Hardner would be best IMO as a temporary sealer for Porcs especially if they have a riven surface. My only caveat is apply it sparingly and try not to get it into the joints which is easy if you use a GOOD QUALITY PAINT PAD and not a roller. It is also very reasonable price wise at only £7.70 + VAT for 946mls or £21.99 for a US Gallon (3.785 Litres) coverage is around 20M2 for the litre size so 80M2 for the US Gallon.

Just finished this morning, not the easiest stuff to work with, went at it really hard thinking the stuff was going to go off quick, 3 hrs later no sign of it going off, is this normal?

It will have set tomorrow as long as you have cleaned it off properley don't worry about it. The norm these days with epoxies seems to be that they initially take longer to set than fast setting modified grouts. Certainly the full curing time is longer on epoxy in most cases
